We open a thread, do work worth keeping, and leave almost all of it behind. Deep research, the reasoning behind a decision, an idea worth returning to: it stays trapped in one conversation until we forget where it is, switch tools, or simply start again.

We move between agents and create new projects constantly, but much of what makes our work ours should travel with us. The same instructions, skills, prompts, and ways of working are useful again and again. So is the image prompt that made the right logo, the research that changed our mind, or the document that gave a project its direction.

Clipboard gives that work somewhere to continue. Tell one agent to save the exact text, then retrieve it from another agent, another session, or a new project. Copy it once. Keep using it.
