Terms of Service

1. The service

Clipboard is a persistent text store designed to be used from compatible agents and the Clipboard web application. It lets you save, list, search, retrieve, update, and delete text together with titles and descriptions.

Clipboard does not promise that content is accurate, complete, suitable for a particular purpose, or available forever. Keep independent copies of material you cannot afford to lose.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use Clipboard. If you use Clipboard for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, including activity by agents and MCP clients you authorise. Tell us promptly at hello@clipboard.work if you believe your account or an access token has been compromised.

3. Your content

You retain your rights in the text, titles, descriptions, and other material you submit to Clipboard. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, copy, transmit, index, and return that content so we can operate the service.

You are responsible for your content and for having the rights and permissions needed to store and use it. Do not submit content that violates law, another person's rights, confidentiality duties, or our Acceptable Use Policy.

Clipboard does not use stored content to train AI models and does not rewrite stored text as part of the storage service. See Data Use for the practical details.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not interfere with the service, bypass access controls or rate limits, use another person's account without permission, or use Clipboard to distribute unlawful or harmful material.

5. Connected services and agents

Clipboard can be connected to third-party agents, clients, and services through MCP and OAuth. Those third parties are not controlled by us and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Review requested permissions before authorising a client and revoke access you no longer need.

6. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, prevent abuse, or improve the service. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes when practical.

The service is currently offered without a paid subscription. If we introduce paid features, we will show the price and applicable payment terms before you buy them.

7. Suspension, deletion, and termination

You may stop using Clipboard at any time. You may delete individual items through the service. You may request account deletion by emailing hello@clipboard.work.

We may restrict or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk for users or the service, or if required by law. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

After deletion, active copies are removed from the service. Limited residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, security records, or records we must retain by law.

8. Intellectual property

Clipboard, its software, branding, design, and documentation are owned by A3B TECHNOLOGIES SL or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you. Feedback may be used to improve Clipboard without obligation to you.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clipboard is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free storage, compatibility with every agent, or that the service will meet every requirement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A3B TECHNOLOGIES SL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, business, goodwill, or data arising from use of Clipboard.

Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for Clipboard during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or €100. This limit does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Subject to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Girona, Spain.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
